EALING WIND ORCHESTRA

The Ealing Wind Orchestra is a vibrant community ensemble based in West London, formed in 2023 to give local amateur musicians the opportunity to come together and make music.

Our repertoire is diverse and exciting, featuring film music, musical theatre arrangements, and classic wind band pieces inspired by folk traditions from around the world. Under the direction of David Gordon-Shute, we rehearse weekly at the University of West London, which generously provides a rehearsal space and percussion instruments in partnership with the London College of Music. ​

The orchestra is committed to promoting original works, supporting underrepresented musicians and composers and using music as a force for good.

​

We perform at least two concerts each year, sharing our music with the local community while supporting charitable causes. We are primarily an adult community orchestra, but under-18s are welcome to join with a responsible adult.
